Design – a bit too
busy and a bit too slick for my liking, seems to be part of
an existing heavily-populated school news site. There’s
also a jpg version of the newspaper on which it is based.
Content: Huge amount
of news/ feature material, a bit more focus needed. Good
interview with MEP, good school news including account of a
trip to Auschwitz and contentious stuff about overcrowded
playground, etc. Strong local news too – the kids arrested
at a far-right rally. Also liked students abroad section
& the piece from the visiting French student, in French.
Interactvitiy:
surprisingly little given the sopghistication of the rest of
the site
Overall – impressive
, but appears to be part of a large, ongoing news operation
