About me:
Hello, My name is Kyra. I am living in Arroyo Blanco, CA in a
fancy white house in an awesome neighborhood with my lovely
husband Delaney. I'm a proud mother of a 6 years old son called Jason.
Once we had two dogs and one cat living with us, but after a
tragical accident only poor Osbert survived. After this trauma my
doggy deserves all my love. I am a successful Real Estate Agent
and I live for my work to be able to make my romantic dream of a
big house with a pool come true some day. My dear husband supports
me everywhere he's able to and so I don't have to spend my life as
a usual woman and have the opportunity to achieve myself. I put
enormous weight on a healthy way of living and always stand behind
my principles. Normally I am pretty liberal towards the Mexican
immigrants. But during the last time my opinion has changed a
little bit. Certain events had a big influence on my thinking
about those poor people. At first my husband had an accident with
one of those people. This is not a reason that made my opinion
change but as i remember it was the beginning of a clash of events.
In
our neighborhood we had decided on building a huge fence around
our community in order to keep out immigrants. At first I was
strictly against this idea. But the longer I thought about it my
opinion became differently. This is not only because of a certain
fright caused by Mexicans that scared me at a house I took care of
but also because of the threat the immigrants mean to my
profession. This is so because most Americans prefer to live in a
certain distance from the immigrants and so move away from them.
This makes it always more difficult for me and my team to sell the
homes we are assigned to. After I discovered a graffiti on
a wall of the Da Ros estate my fear of the Mexican had increased
so much that I only manage to enter the estate with my husband. I
feel that he gets annoyed of it but I can't help myself. In recent
times my relationship to Delaney has changed. We have a lot of
arguments and mostly we discuss about the wall. He can not be
convinced of its neccessity and that after also Osbert had been
killed by a coyote. We not only have to protect our animals but
also our children, who could be the next potential victims. Why
doesn't he listen to the intelligent words of Jack? Slowly he jars
on my nerves with his fanatical nature trip... He only cares of
nature and his stupid column but does not see my desperation about
Osberts and Sachaveralls death! (Sabrina, Hilke,
Ina, Sonja)
