In 1995 Bruce Springsteen published a CD with unusual songs, rather ballads than rock songs. Tom Joad, protagonist of John Steinbeck's novel "Grapes of Wrath" |more| tries to make his living in California after having to leave Oklahoma. His life in California is extremely difficult, as is the (Mexican) migrants' life today. We used five songs and turned them into the stories of today's migrants.
