Um zu erfahren, wie das Leben Jugendlicher in New York ist, haben wir versucht Kontakt mit New Yorker Schulen per E-mail   aufzunehmen. Wir haben Schülern Fragen über ihre Freizeit und Schulleben gestellt, weil der Roman "Ein Schatten wie ein Leopard", den wir gelesen haben, in New York spielt. Es geht um einen puertoricanischen Jungen, der in East Harlem einer Gang angehören möchte. Im Rahmen unserer Website über den Roman möchten wir gerne darüber berichten, wie das Leben der Jugendlichen in New York wirklich ist. Wir freuen uns, wenn weitere New Yorker Schüler auf unsere Webside aufmerksam werden und uns antworten.

We tried to contact schools in New York by e-mail because we wanted to get to know something about life of young people in New York. We asked for some information about their life in school and in free time, because the novel "A Shadow like a Leopard" which we have read is acting in New York. There is a Puertorican boy, who wants to be in a gang. We are working on a website about this novel and we want to report about young people`s life in New York. If you are a pupil in New York, especially in East Harlem or in the Bronx, it will be nice if you answered our questions by e-mail:
