Judith: I
think it is a very interesting book. It would be good for a film. In the book
all the main-persons have successors who lived 110 years ago, so its
fun to read. You can find out many
things by yourself. No one would expect a happy-end and I will not
tell you, if there is one.
Maurits: I
think this is just normal. The characters aren't bad, but not good
as well. The story is kind of boring, because you can say what will
happen before it happens, and the suprises only pretend to be
suprises. The book is (all in all) quite easy to read and not strenuous at all, only the end is very bad, because I thought, the
only thing missing is a choir of angels. The book is neither
impressive, but, on the other hand, not too bad. Just okay, and
perhaps other people like that, but I didn't (too much). André: I would give the book
the mark c. The book is written in an interesting
way. But sometimes you get confused because the book moves from action to action. Some
passages are very thrilling and in some you fall asleep a few times. Katharina & Silke: The
book "Holes" by Louis Sachar is all in all interesting but
the first part could be written shorter. Some things are too often
repeated. There are some negative aspects like lack of action in the
first half but it is a pleasure to read.
